Established in 1983 by Nasra Omar, a designer from the National College of Arts, Lahore, Perahan has grown from its humble beginning to a premier hand block printing design house in Pakistan, with patrons and customers all over the world.

 

Perahan (پیراھن) is a poetic expression for "dress" in Persian and Urdu languages. It embodies the culture and traditions of the subcontinent, and is the driving philosophy behind the creations at Perahan.

 

Hand block printing on fabric is a craft, deeply rooted in our design tradition and it is this medium that Perahan has chosen to express its creativity. Perahan's signature is a perfect mix of tradition and modernity. The product range comprises formal and casual dresses for women, cushion covers, curtains and decorative panels.
